• Analysis of customer requirements and development of new features
• Project ownership and support with regular customer contact
• Programming and qualification of customer-specific software solutions for our 3D vision hardware platforms
• Further development of our machine vision platform (Rust, Angular, Halcon)
• Implementation of interfaces to third-party systems (OPC UA, Fieldbus, REST, gRPC …)
• Technical support for our customers
• Completed studies in software engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent training
• Experience in backend development (Rust an advantage)
• Experience in frontend development with modern frameworks (Angular an advantage)
• Knowledge of industrial image processing (2D/3D, e.g., Halcon) is a plus

The goal of this role is to expand existing customer relationships and acquire new ones. You will be the central point of contact for international customers and manage the entire consulting and sales process – from initial contact to successful contract conclusion. At trade fairs, you will represent Heliotis AG, establish new contacts, and build sustainable business relationships. You will process inquiries, coordinate projects with the application and development teams, prepare offers, conduct negotiations, and thus significantly contribute to further growth.
We are looking for an open-minded individual with technical expertise, ideally at a university or technical college level. You bring experience in international B2B sales, preferably in solution sales within metrology/automation or manufacturing technology. Through your solution-oriented approach, persistence, and reliability, you will gain the trust of intercultural contacts. Furthermore, you communicate fluently in German and English. International travel accounts for approximately 10%.
