Setup, Acquisition & Visualization

heliViewer™ – Easy Start

With the free heliViewer™, you can set up your Heliotis camera, acquire 3D data, and evaluate it directly. The software offers clear profile and 3D representations, simple data preparation, and export to standard formats – including MountainsMap®. Camera parameters and acquisition settings can be saved as recipes and reused at any time.
Automation & Evaluation

heliCommander™ – Automated Measurement

The heliCommander™ combines acquisition, control, and evaluation in one software. It supports all heliViewer™ functions and is specifically designed for the heliProfiler™. Measurement sequences can be automated with the integrated XY portal and saved as jobs. A live view from the 2D auxiliary camera facilitates positioning, while the integrated MountainsMap® software enables powerful, interactive 3D analysis directly within the application.

MountainsMap® – The Reference for 3D Surface Analysis

MountainsMap® is the leading software for area and roughness analysis according to ISO 25178. It offers extensive tools for the representation, filtering, and quantification of 3D topographies and is fully compatible with the data formats of heliViewer™ and heliCommander™. Whether for research, development, or series production – MountainsMap® delivers standard-compliant analyses, meaningful visualizations, and verifiable results at an industrial level.
Development & Integration

heliSDK™ – Full Control for Developers

The heliSDK™ offers direct access to all functions of Heliotis cameras and sensors. It includes tools, firmware, and programming examples for common languages such as C++, C#, Rust, Python, Matlab®, LabView®, Halcon, Matrox, NeuroCheck, CVB, and Aurora Vision. This allows Heliotis systems to be seamlessly integrated into proprietary applications, controls, and machine vision environments.
Algorithms & Extensions

heliAlgo™ – Tools & 3D Algorithms

The heliAlgo™ library extends existing machine vision software with powerful 3D algorithms from Heliotis. It can be easily integrated into common environments and is largely available free of charge. In addition to numerous useful functions, heliAlgo™ also includes a standard-compliant implementation of ISO 25178, which is missing in many vision libraries – ideal for integrating precise 3D evaluations into existing systems.
